Mr. Hummel earned his Juris Doctor Hummel degree from The University of Florida’s Frederic G. Levin College of Law in 1991.  Upon passing the Florida bar exam in 1992, he established his private practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL which was focused primarily on Civil Litigation.  In 1995, he moved to metro Washington, D.C. area and after passing the Virginia State Bar exam in that same year re-established his Civil Litigation practice based out of a K Street office in Northwest D.C., and gradually began to take on Immigration law as an additional practice area, both at the administrative level and in the U.S. Immigration Courts in Arlington, Virginia and Baltimore, Maryland.  In 2005, he moved back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he – once again – launched his private practice.  In addition to Civil Litigation and Immigration Law, he became well versed in Estate Planning and Administration (Probate) to the point that it became a substantial part of his overall practice.
